The trip of a lifetime!

My husband and I were referred to Jeanine via my sister and her husband. They were working with Jeanine to plan a trip to Italy and had wonderful things to say about the experience. My husband and I had attempted to plan our Euro trip alone, but quickly became overwhelmed with all the choices and details. We decided to speak with Jeanine to learn about her services. Right from the jump, she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She was even able to help us include a visit to our family friend as part of the trip, even though it was a bit out of the way.

Throughout the planning process, she was quick to respond, deeply informative, and just a pleasure to work with overall.

She provided us with a daily itinerary, car transfers from airport to hotels, all travel documents, dining recommendations and reservations, and activity recommendations in one central place. We were updated live with any flight delays and Jeanine was quick to text us as well and make sure we were okay. We chose to travel to Italy and when our trip came around, Mt. Etna was erupting frequently, causing closure of the Catania airport. Jeanine provided us with not one, but THREE backup plans in case of delay. Thankfully no eruptions or closures while we were there 😊

The hotels she chose for us were perfect. Particularly the one in Siracusa, Italy! We enjoyed the best vacation of our lives and were truly able to relax, knowing she had planned every detail according to our preferences. It was everything we dreamed of and more. My husband and I eloped in 2024 and planned our own honeymoon to Mexico. It went a bit awry when we got sick, so we chose this trip as a redemption honeymoon. Boy did it make up for everything! Every step of the way was seamless.

The local tour company they paired us with was top-tier! Our guide, Maks, was unbelievable. He tailored every day to our wishes and even helped us hunt for the perfect rocks to take home. We had expressed interest in local bakeries and he made sure we stopped at at least 2 everyday to explore local and freshly made treats. When I had been keen on a geothermal power plant, Maks made an additional stop on the tour to climb a local path to see the power plant from above.

The tours curated for us were stunning! From the 10hr puffin tour (our fav) and snorkelling between tectonic plates, there was something unforgettable for everyone in the family. Even checking off the Blue Lagoon was a great experience.

The food was a wonderful surprise - we loved sampling everything! Especially the fresh fish. Our guide Maks was able to make amazing recommendations for places to eat at.

Our hotel was comfortable and perfectly located for easy access to town.

First off let me start here, Jeanine is a fantastic person who genuinely cares about her clients which is why we keep coming back and she just keeps outdoing herself. We have used her several times but this was our second time for our big anniversary trip that we save up for every five years. Loved it. This is the 2nd time we have traveled with this company. The trips are flawless. No worries about how do I get somewhere or who it is that im gonna be with. All the excursions are planned out and all the info at hand. Phone numbers and addresses as well as general info and any questions delt with up front. We started planning our 50th wedding anniversary trip 2 years ahead of time. We werent sure initially what we should do, but we wanted to go somewhere together with all of our adult children and their spouses. Lavishly guided us through our decision, and we chose to go to an all-inclusive resort on the Mexican Riviera. Lavishly booked our large group (initially 16 people) at the resort and made all of the travel arrangements for everyone from 4 different US airports. Our one regret is not using them for arranging the two excursions we went on - we made the arrangements ourselves. They arranged with the resort for a special dinner to celebrate our 50th, and the resort came through in style. It was a wonderful trip, and we would recommend Jeannine and company to anyone and will use them again ourselves.

I cannot express enough how much thought and detail went into the planning of our vacation through Europe. Jeanine, Our trip was fantastic and everything was perfect with the organizing of train and pickup to and from all facilities. You and your staff did a fantastic job. we will use your service's again and we will recommend Lavishly to others. There were only two thing besides this I would like to discuss. The car rental had a little discrepancy of the rental date but I was able to get that fixed. Not quite sure what happened there but I believe someone had just made a typo error on dates. A recommendation for future is to have your clients check a day or two before to just double check rental times. The last one was the ultimate tour Amalfi coast trip. Echo our tour guide (who was awesome) should have mentioned before we left that we were not going to visit Ravello. this trip was based on seeing that town, one that my Son Thomas was looking forward to seeing. Parking seemed to have been the excuse when Echo had dropped us off at the hotel. So since we got back early I had booked another person to pick us up and take us there at an additional cost. Parking didn't really seem to be an issue. But we were glad we did it because Ravello is an awesome town, one definitely recommended to visit. Once again thank you so much for a wonderful and organized experience in Italy..

Our trip to Scotland was a wonderful experience.The itinerary was spot on as we enjoyed a variety of experiences in a beautiful country.The hotels in Inverness and Edinburgh were in locations that made our own explorations easy.The view from our hotel room windows at Columba Hotel was so pretty day and night as we could see the Ness River flowing by, the bridge lit up at night and the Inverness Castle on the hill. Having a delicious complimentary breakfast each morning in both hotels gave us a great start to our busy days.The tour drivers were personable, knowledgeable and fun!Where ever we went for dinner in both cites the food was delicious. Our experience at the Mustard Seed in Inverness was fabulous.The only thing we would suggest concerns the Columba Hotel. It is an older building that needs some TLC. The water for showering was always and only dangerously hot. There were warnings posted in the bathrooms. The lift only took us partially to the second floor. Which was a problem when we arrived and departed with our luggage.Overall all agreed that we thoroughly enjoyed this trip.

Myself and a friend used Janine for our trip to Italy in Oct 2023. This being our first trip to Europe we wanted a quality vacation and that’s exactly what we got. We traveled from Venice to Florence to Rome and Sorrento. It was a long trip for people in their 70’s. Italy was very crowded but we had car service to take us everywhere. We traveled the fast train and it was very comfortable. If we did have questions Janine was always available as were our tour company. The Trip App was very helpful keeping us on track. The hotels were four and five star. If I travel again I will definitely use Janine.

Well my husband first came across Jeanine and Lavishly Travel because he likes to lavishly travel! He found her on a simple Google search and at the time we were planning a honeymoon in Europe. Like many people, we thought we could do it on our own; do all the research and get the best deals and hit all of the must-do experiences. However, as we came to find, it was overwhelming and so time consuming to research Italy, France, and London to get the most out of our once-in-a-lifetime trip. In fact, when we asked for certain types of hotels, she advised us on what would be better options based on location and the value for our money. Our itinerary was detailed and the team made it very easy for us to follow the plan, know where to be, and when. They provided us with an app where we could easily follow the itinerary if we did not want to carry paper around with us. Also, they advised us with suggested things to do and places to eat that were not on our particular schedule. All of our drivers and tour guides were extremely professional, communicated well with us, and were very knowledgeable. Our tour guides consisted of locals, American ex-pats, and people well-versed in the language and culture of the region. They were energetic and made sure we had a great experience. Many of our tour guides were highly educated and at least one of them held a PhD. in Italian history. This was particularly valuable for our tour of the Vatican. Lavishly Travel also provides you with 24/7 assistance should the need arise in an emergency. This was reassuring being in a foreign country, in a different time zone, and not being able to speak the language! Prior to our departure we were given a checklist of things to do to make sure we were prepared for our trip. We also were able to have a "Bon Voyage" phone call several days before departure. All of these details are imperative to ensure a smooth trip, especially to foreign countries or places you are not familiar with. All-in-all Jeanine and Lavishly Travel delivered on all possible areas. We have now utilized her services for three different trips and have referred her to friends and family; something we do not take lightly! We look forward to working with her for future trips!

I don’t even know where to begin! My husband and I recently came back from our trip to Thailand and words and pictures cannot do it justice. Before the trip: We started working with Jeanie right at the beginning of COVID. We had just gotten married and had our first son and was so excited to finally get our honeymoon. We didn’t really know where we wanted to go, but we did know where we didn’t want to go and Jeanie was extremely patient and willing to give us multiple options to choose from. We finally chose Thailand, only for lockdown to happen. If we had booked our trip ourselves we would have not been able to get any money back. Jeanie not only held our spots and all the money we had already put down, but she kept us updated on travel, checked in to see how we were, and cared about how hard the delay was emotionally. Fast forward to everything opening up again— I found out I was expecting my second son right as we were going to finalize our trip. It’s was scary because I wouldn’t be able to travel during the dates we had selected. Jeanie wasn’t fazed. She said “everything will be here when you’re ready.” She checked on me throughout my pregnancy. She encouraged me and didn’t rush our decision at all. I had my son, I was able to start feeling like myself again and we jumped right back into the planning process as if no time had changed. This process was important and she spent hundreds of hours researching the wish list I gave and giving feedback regarding if I liked a place and what I wanted and how I wanted things to look. She took her time with me to find the perfect destination match. I am extremely picky about where I stay and like very specific things. She checked every box and made sure I was happy! She was able to finalize all of our requests and we traveled this past March! During the trip: This was my second time flying out of the country and I was pretty nervous about all the logistics. We arrived at the airport and that was when I realized everything, I mean EVERYTHING was taken cared of for us. There were no surprises. it was so smooth traveling from Boston to Phuket and we were super prepared for everything because of how thorough Jeanie and her team were with us. We arrived in Phuket only to find out our bags were still in Boston. The airport and hotel staff communicated directly and our bag was delivered to our resort that next morning! After walking out of the airport in Thailand, our driver was waiting with our names and a Mercedes S Class with our driver outside ready. He had the A/C on, put our carryons in the trunk, opened the doors for us, offered us water and snacks and it was the absolute best start to our trip. During the drive he explained how we would be staying in the best resort in Phuket. Jeanie had pulled out all of the stops for us. She had every detail meticulously planned and made sure they were all executed flawlessly. We stayed for that entire week, in a private pool and beach access villa. We walked into the villa and they had dressed the bed up with a swan and rose petals. We also got a delivery of chocolate and fruits. We enjoyed complementary breakfast with mimosas, and fresh fruit every morning. The staff made us feel so welcome! We sat on the beach and had food and drinks deliver to us whoever we liked. We enjoyed a private boat tour complete with fresh fruit, snorkeling, and lunch on the boat for just the two of us. We had dinner on the beach with a private chef cooking right behind us while playing a playlist of our favorite songs. Every possible amenity we could ask for, we had. The resort was 5 stars and it was warranted in everything they did. It all was immaculate. The staff, the food, the beach, the villa, the excursions, the access..all of it. Whenever we needed to attend an excursion outside of the resort, our transportation was waiting for us at the front in a nice car with A/C and a caring driver. We experienced elephants and the city. It was an unforgettable experience. Why hire Jeanine: I was one of those people that would say “we don’t need a travel agent, I can plan this myself at a cheaper price and get it all the exact same.” I pushed back on my husband when he brought up the idea of hiring a travel agent and now that I have experienced it all, I will say, what Jeanie and her team were able to do for us and our trip, simply was invaluable. They provide so much more than the “here’s an excursion and here are some flights.” She specifically provided us with security, her wisdom of the area we were traveling too, convenience, peace of mind, and it was the best decision we ever could have made. My husband and I are very particular, we work hard for our money and do not take spending it lightly. We wanted the best of the best and what she provided was above and beyond. If you are on the fence, I urge you to spend the money on a professional like her. You want things done right. Our Italy honeymoon with Jeanine was absolutely unbelievable. Not only did she plan everything, from hotels to drivers to secret tours to cooking classes, but her planning allowed us to truly enjoy every part of the trip without thinking too much about the little details. And the things we were able to do simply would not have been possible without her! Were still in awe of our private tour of Pompeii, not to mention our farm-to-table lunch on the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast or making homemade pasta in the hills of Tuscany. Our experience has been phenomenal! Jeannine helped us get the vacation of our dream despite this Covid pandemic. She was mindful of our budget limitations and customize to our wishes. She made herself available for any questions we had and responded quickly when we asked. The Polynesian Culture Center Luau canceled on us at the last minute and she quickly made other arrangements and absorbed any extra cost. She was very friendly and helpful. Wow. Where to begin. For our honeymoon, we asked Jeanine and her team to create a 2.5 week romantic and cultural tour of Italy. She did NOT disappoint! We just got back from Ireland, It was AMAZING! We didn't want to leave. Everyone in ireland was super nice and friendly. We traveled to Dublin and Killarney. We loved the countryside of Killarney. We enjoyed the two tours we did, the ring of kerry and gap of dunloe. Our favorite was dunloe, you go on a boat ride and then a horse carriage through the mountains. Had a great 6 day road trip through Southern Ireland! Jeanine planned a wonderful trip that flowed smoothly! Would definitely recommend! Our favorite experiences were the authentic Irish dinner show with actual Irish step dancers, the cliffs of Moher, snow in Ennis, King Johns Castle, so many monastery ruins and the best was a sheepdog encounter where we fed baby sheep! Wish I could go back immediately! And we had never stayed in such lux hotels so we enjoyed that almost as much. I can still taste the food. The whole experience was a dream. Ive included WAY too many photos but it was just so fun!

We traveled to Italy for the first time in January of 2023. Due to uncertainty with my schedule for work, we made our plans kind of last-minute. for $200-500 Jeanine went above and beyond to assist my wife and I with our honeymoon! My wife and I were married in June 2020 in the middle of COVID-19 and while we were able to have our wedding during this time, our honeymoon was unfortunately cancelled. Two years later, with Jeanine's help, I was able to surprise my wife with our dream honeymoon. Jeanine helped plan everything throughout the process and even when disaster struck and our 5 am flight was cancelled just 8 hours before we were set to board the 5 am flight to begin our honeymoon, Jeanine answered our call and stayed on the phone with us and the agency for 3 hours as we worked out the best solution for us to make our honeymoon happen. Jeanine fought for us and stayed up until midnight battling with the agency and airlines to make sure we were taken care of and that our issue was resolved. Jeanine is a MUST. Lets just begin with the fact that due to her hard work last minute we were able to go to Jamaica. Jeanine is very responsive. She will answer her phone at any time of the day. I went with a group of 14 to Jamaica. We had 2 fights. This trip has been booked for a year and less than 24 hours before our flight took off the flight was cancelled. The “rescheduled” flight was booked to take off 2 days later than the original flight. I automatically called Jeanine and she got to work right away. Jeanine spent her entire Saturday fixing this flight issue and ensuring that we got to Jamaica. If it wasn’t for Jeanine we would have had to go 2 days later then planned… lost 2 days of beach time, lost our money for the hotel for those 2 days and would not have a driver from the airport to the hotel. I was very stressed to say the least… but in the end Jeanine saved our vacation. She is a very funny and personable person. I highly recommend using her to plan your next vacation.

Trying to plan a trip to Europe for a 1st timer was overwhelming for myself. Way to much to choose from and no experience so I decided to reach out to a travel agent. I was SO skeptical about getting a travel agent but Jeanine really is so great & very easy to talk to. From our first convo I knew she was the way to go. I havent even went on my honeymoon yet but I know my next trip I'm coming to her. Things have been hard and confusing during covid but not when it came to scheduling & planning my honeymoon. I absolutely loved my experience with Jeanine with Lavishly Travel. My travel has forevermore been changed. Why I didn’t find Jeanine sooner is crazy! She is my new best friend, helping me with EVERYTHING I need for my travels and adventures. Jeanine booked us a 3 week bucket list trip to Europe which included Florence, Rome, London and a 10 day Greek Island cruise.

Everything she set up was spot on from the walking tours of Florence, the segway tour of Rome and the Vatican, the 2 story bus tour of London and the Eye, to the beaches and the cliffs of Santorini.

Can't wait to go back!
