Travel has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.
Growing up in American Samoa gave me an appreciation for different cultures, beautiful landscapes, and the incredible experiences that come from exploring the world. Combined with my Italian heritage, it sparked a curiosity that has stayed with me throughout my life and continues to inspire every journey I plan.
Today, I'm the founder of Lavishly Travel, where I help travelers experience the world through thoughtfully planned vacations that reflect their unique travel style, interests, and dreams.

My Journey
Travel was my first career.
After high school, I attended travel school because I knew I wanted to help people explore the world. As life unfolded, I chose a different path and became a pharmacist—a profession that allowed me to care for people, solve problems, and make a meaningful difference in their lives every day.
Even though my career changed, my love of travel never did.
Like many of my clients today, I had limited vacation time and a demanding career. After working 12- to 14-hour shifts, I'd spend my evenings researching destinations, comparing hotels, mapping out itineraries, and trying to make every one of my precious vacation days count.
Those years taught me a valuable lesson: planning an unforgettable vacation takes time, experience, and thoughtful attention to detail. When you're balancing a demanding career, family, and everyday responsibilities, finding the time to research every destination, hotel, and experience isn't always easy. That's where having a trusted travel advisor can make all the difference.
After several unforgettable trips to Italy—including visiting the villages where my family has roots—I realized something had come full circle. Travel had always been part of my story, and I knew it was time to return to the career that first inspired me.
I returned to my first career and founded Lavishly Travel, bringing together my lifelong passion for travel with the organization, attention to detail, and commitment to caring for others that I developed as a pharmacist.
Why I Connect with My Clients
One of the reasons I connect so well with my clients is because I've been in their shoes.
Many of the travelers I work with are busy professionals balancing careers, families, and countless responsibilities. I understand what it's like to look forward to a vacation all year, only to realize you have to spend your evenings and weekends researching destinations, comparing hotels, and trying to fit everything into a limited amount of time.
I know how overwhelming that can feel because I've lived it myself.
I also know how valuable those vacation days are. They're more than just time away—they're a chance to celebrate life's milestones, reconnect with the people who matter most, discover new places, and create memories that stay with you long after you return home.
That's why I approach every trip with the same care and attention I'd give my own. My goal is to take the stress out of the planning process so you can spend less time worrying about the details and more time looking forward to the experience ahead.
How Travel Has Shaped My Heart
Travel has been one of my greatest teachers.
Over the years, I've experienced the world in many different ways. I've traveled solo, celebrated honeymoons and anniversaries, explored with fellow travel advisors, laughed through girlfriends' getaways, traveled the world with my daughter, and attended industry events that have taken me to incredible destinations.
Each journey has taught me something different.
Italy will always have my heart. It's where I connected with my family's heritage and discovered that travel can tell us as much about ourselves as it does about a destination.
In 2019, I had the privilege of taking both my mom and my daughter to American Samoa—the place where my story began. Sharing my childhood home with two generations of my family reminded me that travel isn't just about discovering new places. It's about honoring where we come from, creating lasting memories, and passing those experiences on to the people we love.
Traveling the world with my daughter—from Iceland to Italy, Croatia, Greece, Australia, Fiji, and French Polynesia—has reminded me that the greatest gift we can give one another isn't something we buy. It's time together and the memories we create along the way.
My solo journeys taught me confidence, independence, and the joy of stepping outside my comfort zone.
Traveling through Africa filled me with awe and a deep appreciation for conservation, wildlife, and the beauty of our natural world.
Exploring destinations like Dubai, the Maldives, the Seychelles, Mauritius, Portugal, Thailand, and so many others has reminded me that every destination has something to teach us. When we slow down, listen, and experience a place through its people, culture, and traditions, we almost always return home with a broader perspective than when we left.
I believe travel makes us more understanding.
More compassionate.
More curious.
It reminds us that while our traditions, languages, and customs may be different, our hopes, our love for family, and our desire to belong are remarkably alike.
Travel also has a way of pressing the reset button.
Life gets busy. Careers demand our attention. Responsibilities pile up. Sometimes we lose sight of who we are beneath the schedules and obligations.
Stepping into a new place has a way of bringing us back.
It gives us space to breathe, to reconnect with the people we love, to gain perspective, and often to rediscover parts of ourselves that everyday life has quietly buried.
That belief shapes every vacation I plan.
I don't simply want my clients to visit beautiful places. I want them to come home feeling refreshed, inspired, connected, and carrying memories that become part of their story for years to come.
